Arnold Lacorte

He is Mr. Sports Unlimited due to the fact that this guy is sports everywhere. Basketball, football, jogging, billiards, bowling, mountain biking, adventure sports, triathlon, dota warcraft, psp games with all these activities he still has time to do photography. If you’ve watch Terminator Trilogy, he is not Arnold but the T-800. He is Man, Moment and Machine. An artist with an eye for the arts.

A quiet guy and also a winner of photo contest. We seldom get to meet him due to work schedules. A badminton buff and also a photography addict. Whenever he’s free and there’s photo-ops, bet that he’ll always join…an addict indeed!

This guy is always on the go. He’s actively joining most of the marathon events in Singapore and also plays football. He’s like a cheetah that can run and reach high levels. He can actually chase his subject no matter what as fast as a cheetah in any direction and position. I just don’t understand why each time we meet he always introduces a new lady friend. By the way, he’s a good swimmer.

Administrator of the website where he’s main duty is to maintain and keep the website running. He started photography way back in high school but immediately stopped due to a traumatizing experience with a film SLR. 13yrs later, friends from this group were able to convince him to go back in taking those exposures with a DSLR. Still a newbie but hopes to get that one in a million shot.

Paulo Alano

Because of Harvey Norman’s sales talk he bought his first DSLR which he has no idea how to operate which eventually introduced him into the world of photography. Such sales talk led him to influence other people including 3 bored members to have a DSLR. A picture paints a thousand words as the saying goes. Tennis buff, always in tune with the Australian, French, Wimbledon and US Tennis Open. A wanna be rock star; give him the microphone and videoke all night.

Tess Bueno

Her surname alone describes her as a “good” person (bueno in Spanish is good) or is it? Name it she will cook it, the lady that nurtures the bored members appetite. The lady that introduced us to join photo competitions for she herself was one of the finalists ona magazine’s monthly photo contest. She’s small yet terrible cook, kidding…the laughing lady who’s always on the laugh with almost every occasion. Cute and quiet at times.

Photo-toyz? eye catching. Great pics launch thousand of stories… i was perplexed with the Burning-out-pic by ched F, simple yet enticing…

… what put me on the loop is how one of the members got traumatized with SLR. Hmmm?

G-R-E-A-T pics! Keep all those shutters clicking men!

    Hi Princess-D,

Thanks for visiting our site and again for the comments and appreciation on each of the bored members pictures. Are you into photography as well?
As for the traumatizing experience of Jeff, well maybe back then film was expensive and maybe he was also developing it via dark room with the use of the chemicals to develop the prints had some not so good result. Well, all I could do is guess..

Keep visiting our site and gladly we will post some more pictures.

    Cheers!

    Hi J’ol

Depends on the use of the camera, do you want to go for a crop factor sensor (canon50d) or full frame sensor (canon 5d). I suggest you go to the reviews of these camera at http://www.dpreview.com

This site will help you out on deciding which camera to buy. Again it depends on your budget in buying a camera.

    Cheers!

  11. Jeol,

Like mentioned by Dan, you can check the link but at the end of the day its a matter of preference. Dont be fooled by hype. All camera have strengths and weaknesses but that will not prevent you taking great pics. Just go with the one you feel good using and with features that will work for you. Like what Chase Jarvis said, the best camera is the one you have at the moment so you can capture a great photo.

    Jeff
